While there hasn’t been too much shown about the crafting side of things in game, it has shown that players can farm for food and gather resources, like wool, from sheep-shaped Pals. Players however can actually build bases, farms and constructs, like Minecraft, to navigate and survive in the world. Imagine if the Wild Area from Pokémon Sword and Shield was the entire game – and you get Palworld. The open world however is something new, allowing players to play and experience the game at their own pace.įollowing Pocketpair’s game Craftopia, it’s no surprise that the company went for another open world survival game. Monster Harvest, for example, already has the same style and feel of Stardew Valley but with Pokémon. Farming, crafting and creature collecting are all things players love, but are themes that are already being explored. It’s described as a multiplayer, open-world survival crafting game, with a lot of additional features. This game by Pocketpair has a lot of content. They can be trained to fight against others or live a comfortable life. It has a Pokémon inspired feel, with animals being of different elements and the player being able to catch them. Given its ambitions - there’s also Pal breeding, dungeon exploration, factory automation, multiplayer, and “crime” - it wouldn’t be surprising to see Palworld become a 2023 game.Palworld is a game that has understandably taken the internet by storm.

Pocketpair Games says Palworld is still in development, and there’s no update on when the Windows PC game will arrive other than its 2022 window on Steam.
So, yeah, while Palworld is pitched as a “happy easy-going lifestyle while farming building” game, it also has its share of brutal combat. We see a player character capturing a not- Wooloo with a not-Pokéball the construction of a high-tech Pal prison a deerlike creature brutally sniped in the head with a bow and arrow a pack of Relaxaurus (definitely not a Goodra-Snorlax hybrid) and what appears to be a boss, Anubis (definitely not Lucario), getting shotgun-blasted in the torso. Palworld’s newest gameplay highlights don’t offer too much new that we haven’t seen in previous trailers. A new look at Palworld, the colorful, open-world survival crafting game from Craftopia developer Pocketpair Games, shows off its colorful cartoonish world, it’s Pokémonlike creatures called Pals, and a whole lot of violence that will probably make you think, “It is incredibly weird to see Pokémon on the business end of a shotgun.”
